New Providence Business is a group of merchants and professionals working together to make our town the premiere place for family and shopping.
Our mission is to support and give back to the New Providence, NJ community and serve our members. Our mission became clear when the borough was no longer able to fund community events like the Independence Day celebration fireworks.
As members of New Providence Business, we work to achieve our mission by planning, operating and providing funding for our great New Providence events, including the 5K Race, our Summer Concerts, the Independence Day fireworks, the fall Street Fair, downtown Trick or Treating and Scarecrow Contest, Holiday Festival, and the Borough Holiday Party.
New Providence Business also holds meetings to inform, educate, and create a forum for members to exchange ideas and experiences, in order to build a proactive business community. We do this to serve the community and to raise the profile of businesses within the community. We also serve as an informational resource for businesses interested in relocating to New Providence.
