As the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread and negatively impact our businesses, the Business Community has evaluated the feasibility of sponsoring and executing the events we had planned through the remainder of this year. Taking into consideration community safety; the ability to control large crowds; our ability to enforce social distancing and wearing masks; raising the funds needed to produce the events; and adhering to current Executive Orders limiting the number of attendees, we have, unfortunately, concluded that we will be unable to sponsor, plan, and execute the Street Fair and the Holiday Festival this year.  Thank you for your continuing support of our businesses.

The New Providence Street Fair will be in downtown New Providence on Sunday, October 25, 2020. The fair will be held on Springfield Avenue, between South Street and Livingston Avenue, from 10 AM – 4 PM.

Held in the main thoroughfare of the borough, the fair promises a day of fun for the entire family and draws a crowd of OVER 5,000 people! The streets are filled with various exhibits, vendors, and activities. Children will have opportunities to visit the petting zoo and experience other fun activities, such as face painting and storytelling. Food vendors will sell refreshments and delicious food throughout the day. Local residents and visitors come to enjoy the food and entertainment. Businesses can participate in this event by serving as a sponsor or a vendor.
